I agree... throw all the bums out... but how?

How do we energize a lethargic and pathetic populace. How does one change the mindset of the people, which engenders this enormous need to follow... to follow someone or something regardless of any associated ramifications?

Is this some kind of genetic flaw?

Have you ever asked yourself why the masses must follow? Why they follow leaders, parties, politicians, tyrants whose only real agenda is self-gratification and the acquisition of more power.

Throughout history, the masses have been manipulated, used, abused, and sacrificed by their leaders, but in spite of this, the masses still follow. Citizens constantly complain about and mistrust their leaders, but they continue to rally around and support these so-called leaders. Observing political party conventions brings sorrow to my heart.

People continue to allow themselves to be

manipulated and sacrificed. Why?

What gratification do we get by appeasing these

unethical, power mad monsters?

More importantly, how does this small contingent

of monsters control the masses?
 

What is their power? Why can't we break free? 

Why can't we think and act independently?

Why can't we for once build unison without a power mad central

core and why can't we throw the bums out for all eternity?
