Comments and notes by World-Action: Perhaps Dan Evehema called the 'no mercy force' from the west, 'Liberators', because this would be such a dire situation, it could wake the whole world out of apathy. On the other hand, the Liberator was a mass-produced, large plane around the time of World War II; Dan passed on recently at the age of 106, so World war II would have been a vivid time for him. Due to the Earth's rotation, the common wind and weather direction is from the west. There are many reports of planes patrolling up and down America's Pacific Coast spraying masses of this awful stuff which is then swept eastwards right over the USA, and around the world.
